If it's base on achievements and World Ranking.. among them all, UM placed the top. While UMS is the last of all. But seriously, UM's ranking dropped drastically until out of the TOP 100 of the World Universities.

What happened ?!

It's saddening, you know ? Especially to our nations, our country

But I guess it's a tough job to maintain the quality of the U

Don't know what happened to UM. Even lose to USM ans UPM. Hopefully the increase their Standards in an effective way or some other Uni can Increase their standards into top 100 U in the world.

UM standard had dropped a lot already. It's not wht it's used to be. Anyway, I can promise you that it will continue to drop.

I heard from my teacher that UM too emphasis on Money.
Example:Enter library = Money.

It's not bad mouth or gossip. It's just the truth.* We cannot deny the fact. There are many causes for the downfall. Do you know that most of the local graduate can't even write proper English? Look around. Search the web. You will know why.

Anyway, let's just compare the same uni. NUS(National University of Singapore) and UM(University of Malaya). Both are from the same uni(Check their history. I'm too lazy to explain so much.) and they are so far away in the rankings.

Well, money is not the main thing actually.
The source I got from internet stated that * It's quite unfair for those who strive really hard to go in.

I once heard on the radio that 85% in UM * lots of lecturers quit their job or switch to other private institutes to teach a better students.

Can't blame anything. This is how our country do things..
And, Singapore is different though ..It's a very small country. So the government can deal things easily. Plus the citizens are pretty cooperative... Although, on the surface we seemed as if we're living in the multi racial country. But the fact is still, they are certain gapes between the races..

now USM is very good in engineering course already n even better than UTM
never hope to go in UM coz not interested since the rank drop so drastically >.<

Not really, you don't need to memorize a ton of stuff in law school.
What you actually need is an understanding of the basic ideas and reasoning behind a certain principle of law.
As to how to do that...oh well...
